Q. How do I get my prescription to Bill’s Pills so that you can fill it for me?

A. There are a few ways to get your prescription to the pharmacy for filling:

You can call our toll free number at 1-877-RX-BILLS or provide the following information on the form found on this web site.

If it is currently being filled at another pharmacy you need only to provide the name and phone number of the pharmacy and the prescription number on your package.

If this is a new prescription we will need the name of the Physician, his/her telephone number and the medication we are attempting to fill for you.

Q. If the prescriptions are mailed to me will I need to pay additional for postage?

A. First class postage is included in the price of the prescription. If you would like it to arrive quicker than First class postage there will be an additional cost.

Q. How long will it take my prescription to arrive after I place my order?

A. Prescriptions will be mailed the day after they are received. This means that normally you will have them in 2-3 business days. It is important that you have at least one weeks supply of your maintenance medications on hand when you place your order to ensure continual therapy.

Q. Can you fill prescriptions for me if I am on vacation in another state or spend part of each year living at another location?

A. We will be able to either supply you with enough medication to last you through your vacation or if you are going to be spending a large block of time in another location, ship your meds to this secondary address.

Q. Can you fill controlled substance prescriptions?

A. Yes. Keep in mind that the Federal Government has many restrictions on the filling of controlled substances. Bill’s Pills will be following these guidelines as well as the guidelines established by the state of Michigan.

Q. Can you ship liquid medications to me through the mail?

A. We will ship in plastic bottles within padded envelopes. This has been used safely for many years.

Q. How large of quantity am I allowed to purchase at one time?

A. By law a prescription can be filled for one year (controlled substances are limited to six months). Bill’s Pills will be able to fill your prescriptions for that full amount of time depending on how it is written by your physician. Most of the time it is more cost effective to get larger quantities.

Q. What form of payment will you accept?

A. We can accept credit card payment for Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We will also accept checks and cash if picking up your prescription in person at the pharmacy.

Q. Would you be able to provide me with a year-end tax statement?

A. Yes. You need only to call or write to us with your request.

Q. Can I still use my insurance company if I want to submit my receipts.

A. Yes. The receipt provided with your prescription will have all the information that most insurance companies need to process your claims for reimbursement.
