| Meet Bill: Bill Overkamp R.Ph. has enjoyed a varied career in the field of pharmacy. From
his tour as a pharmacy specialist aboard the Naval aircraft carrier USS Oriskany
during the Viet Nam Conflict to his most recent position as Director of the Waverly
Pharmacy at Johnson Controls in Holland, Michigan. His involvement has been both
hands on practical as well as supervisory.
Bill has maintained ties with his alma mater by serving on the
Ferris State University College of Pharmacy Alumni Board for
several years. He is currently the chairman
of the Western Michigan Pharmacist Association and has become involved in
the National Pharmaceutical Stockpile Task Force in West Michigan
that was formed
as a response to the 911 tragedy which will aid to counteract bioterrorism.
Born and raised in Holland, Bill has been a long
time resident of West Michigan currently residing in Grand Haven.
This empty nester enjoys many outdoor activities, service to his
church and a strong relationship with his wife, Kass, of 38 years
and his two grown children, Khory and Karre. |
